Make routine care straightforward

Two filters. Two different jobs.

Huron Automotive inspects filter condition against your vehicle’s maintenance schedule and driving conditions. The engine air filter and cabin air filter serve different systems, so it helps to know which one needs attention.

Engine air filter

The engine air filter keeps dust and debris out of the intake. Condition and the manufacturer’s interval guide replacement. Combine a check with oil-change service when appropriate.

Cabin air filter

The cabin filter helps clean air entering the passenger area. Reduced vent airflow or interior dust can justify a check, but other causes are possible. If cooling itself is the concern, explore A/C diagnostics.

Not sure which filter is due?

Share your mileage, service history, and driving conditions. A scheduled-maintenance review can help put filter service in context rather than guessing at an interval.

Ask about checking both filters at your next visit. Filter replacement is routine maintenance; it is not a substitute for diagnosing a warning light or a performance concern.

Before you book

Practical answers. Fewer surprises.

What will it cost, and how long will it take?

Filter type, vehicle design, filter availability, and access affect the estimate and service time. The shop can advise after reviewing your vehicle and inspecting the concern.

Call to ask about diagnostic charges and appointment availability before your visit.

How often should an engine air filter be replaced?

Intervals vary by vehicle and driving conditions. Dusty roads and heavy use can shorten the service life, so condition matters as much as mileage.

Is a cabin air filter the same as an engine air filter?

No. The engine filter cleans intake air for the engine, while the cabin filter cleans air entering the passenger compartment.

What are signs of a dirty cabin air filter?

Weak vent airflow, persistent dust, or an unpleasant odor from the climate system can be reasons to inspect the cabin filter.

Can I replace an air filter during an oil change?

Yes. Filter checks fit naturally with routine maintenance and can often be handled during the same appointment.

Do both Green Bay locations offer filter replacement?

Filter service can be requested through Huron Automotive’s central online appointment system for either Green Bay shop.
